Criminal Justice (BS)

The Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Criminal Justice at Concordia University, Saint Paul, offers students a comprehensive understanding of the criminal justice system, including courts, corrections, crime, policing, punishment, etc. The career-focused curriculum allows students to explore their specific interests in the field while preparing for a wide range of careers or graduate study in criminal justice. The program is certified by the Minnesota Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) Board to meet academic requirements for those pursuing Minnesota police officer licensure, as well as continuing education credits for current license holders. 

General Education Requirements

All degree seeking undergraduate students must complete the general education requirements.

Degree Requirements

Bachelor of Science degree consists of a major of typically 30 to 60 credits, general education courses, upper-level requirements, and elective courses totaling a minimum of 120 credits.
