Physician Assistant Studies (MS)

Concordia University, St. Paul’s Physician Assistant (PA) Program prepares students to become highly skilled medical providers committed to patient-centered care and community impact. The curriculum is divided into two phases: didactic and clinical. During the first four semesters, students complete a rigorous didactic phase that begins with foundational medical sciences and progresses through integrated units in cardiology, dermatology, emergency medicine, endocrinology, gastroenterology, hematology, nephrology, neurology, obstetrics and gynecology, oncology, orthopedics, otolaryngology, pediatrics, pulmonology, psychiatry, surgery, and urology. This phase equips students with the medical knowledge and practical skills needed for clinical success. In the clinical phase, students complete seven core rotations in emergency medicine, family medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics, psychiatry, surgery, and women’s health, along with two elective rotations in medical or surgical specialties. The program concludes with a capstone project and summative evaluation, ensuring that rotation-ready graduates are clinically prepared to provide high-quality care across diverse healthcare settings.
